BHT is a fat-soluble antioxidant and FDA-approved preservative for food, oils and fats. This antioxidant has been discussed over the last three decades in books authored by Mann and Fowkes, as well as by Pearson and Shaw.

Ingredients:
Each capsule contains 350 mg of butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT).
Ingredients: BHT and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (vegetarian capsule).
Dosage
BHT is intended to be mixed with fats or oils as a preservative antioxidant. Usage rate should not exceed .02% of the fat or oil being preserved.
Cautions
If BHT is ingested in amounts higher than when used as a food preservative, alcohol should be avoided, as BHT prevents the breakdown of alcohol and will exacerbate and prolong the effects of alcohol.
