Active MTHF is 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), the naturally occurring, biologically active form of folate that is nearly 7 times more bioavailable than ordinary folic acid. Active MTHF requires no metabolic conversion before being absorbed or entering the cell. It readily crosses the blood-brain barrier.*

Dosage

Cautions
If you are taking methotrexate therapy for cancer, do not use this product, since it may decrease methotrexate effectiveness. If you are under a physician's care or taking medication, or if you are pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare professional
